Configure cloud and local models centrally, route each task appropriately, and keep sensitive workloads inside approved infrastructure.
Overview.
BasilAOS is model-neutral. Admin can manage model groups across cloud APIs and local serving, import or export configurations, and assign models by capability, sensitivity, cost, or workflow requirement rather than hard-wiring the platform to one provider.
How it works.
Administrators register approved model endpoints and credentials, group models by purpose, and expose only permitted choices to applications and workflows. Studio and Workbench call the selected model through governed platform services, with usage and call records available for audit and operations.
How to configure.
Register the approved cloud or local endpoint.
Store credentials using the enterprise secret process.
Create model groups and routing rules.
Assign allowed models to workflows and agents.
Test quality, latency, cost, and data-boundary requirements.
