Extend agents with approved skills, MCP tools, OAuth connections, and reusable actions governed at template and instance level.
Overview.
Skills give agents reusable capabilities without embedding every action inside a monolithic workflow. BasilAOS supports self-service discovery for approved skills and central administration for rollout, permissions, authentication, versioning, and lifecycle management.
How it works.
Admins import or approve a skill, configure its authentication mode, and assign it to agent templates or instances. Employees see only skills available to them. Agents call the skill during a task, and BasilAOS records the invocation alongside the conversation, workflow, and resulting artifact.
How to configure.
Import or register the skill definition.
Choose no-auth, OAuth 2.0, or form-based configuration.
Define template-level and instance-level permissions.
Test inputs, outputs, and failure behavior.
Publish to selected agents or employee groups.
